Ingredients

  • nonstick cooking spray
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 ½ teaspoons baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 5 teaspoons everything bagel seasoning

Cooking Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Spray 5 muffin cups with cooking spray or olive oil mist, and set aside.
  2. Combine flour, milk, mayonnaise, baking powder, and salt in a bowl. Spoon or scoop the batter evenly into the muffin cups.
  3. Whisk egg and water together in a small bowl. Brush the surface of each roll with beaten egg and sprinkle each with about 1 teaspoon of everything seasoning.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven until golden brown, 18 to 20 minutes.
You can certainly buy "everything" seasoning, but it's really easy and less expensive to make your own with spices you have in your pantry. Look for "'Everything' Seasoning" on this site for the recipe.
